At our July meeting businesses discussed town centre projects, business promotional opportunities, and the challenges that face businesses looking to move into units in the town centre.
Updates were provided about the museum development, our Business Conference in September and our footfall and sales performance. Businesses were also keen to discuss plans for Christmas – ways in which we could add to the council’s lights switch-on, which is Saturday, 24th November.
Our next meeting is on Tuesday 22nd August at the BID Office on Mercers Row to take place at both 7.30am-8.30am, and 6pm-7pm. Hope to see you there.
